About

Born and raised in Dallas (Texas, ya'll) my exploration of movement began at 19 when the seeds of hip hop, ballet, jazz and modern dance were planted during my time as a dancer, ultimately leading to my introduction to aerial dance. Silks provided me with the opportunity to redefine the techniques I'd learned and challenge the limitations of my body. Thoroughly hooked I took off, immersing myself in rigorous rope, lyra, and contortion training. My work is defined by the lessons from each modality, highlighted by fluid transitions from floor to air, dynamic momentum and spin, and the use of body mechanics to create visual forms that stretch and fold into one another. When I’m not spinning and flying around, I spend my time buried in a good book or traveling.
